"Remind me again why I haven't throttled your sister yet?" Emma huffs. She lifts a hefty piece of carnage over her shoulder, throwing what seems like the thousandth piece into the pile. She still has no idea why she agreed to help clear this mess, but Emma for whatever reason couldn't refuse a pleading Regina (Regina will deny that she was pleading because a queen never begs).
Regina scoffs. "Because you're good." It isn't an insult as it might've been once before, and Emma smirks underneath the sweat and dirt plastered on her face. She’s heard this tone one too many times, though it's never laced with any vitriol anymore.
"Tell me that when you find me standing over Zelena's corpse," Emma rolls her eyes, groaning as another piece goes flying. She holds her tongue to avoid asking, for the tenth time, why they can't just use magic. Yeah, Regina's already told her about frequency something or other and Robyn's triggers and magic catalyst crap, but Emma can't remember anything about, well, any of the nine previous explanations when she was oh so distracted by Regina's hand on hers as she had readied up her magic. What did I just tell you, Miss Swan? had been Regina's increasingly snark response each time, followed by a long-winded explanation.
A yelp rings in the air as Emma chucks another section of ripped up rooftop away from the mainframe. "Emma, darling, do be careful. You wouldn't want to hurt my little Robyn, now, would you?" Zelena saunters onto the wreckage site, child in arms.
no pressure at all, but i'm tagging @queststar, @zelena, and @bytherosebushlaughing!!!
