Mr. "I would rather saw off my own limb than train back up to my former strength" vs. Mr. "if unnatural darkness is taking over my mind I will just have to do what always calms me down: rigorous exercise"

Phantom picked exactly the wrong person to vent to about his training woes and Luminous is about to get himself banned from the Lumiere by suggesting a 5AM daily jogging routine.

From the moment her eyes met his, that was his oath— the rarest jewel could not compare with the shine of her blue eyes, gentle as a clear sky, and her beauty and the way light reflected off her skin eluded even the most skilled painter in the world. Phantom swore that one day, she would be his, and he would worship her for a lifetime.
Aria, an intelligent and wary empress, took her heart and put it in a cage, as she knew it would become an appealing target, next to the Skaia. However, day by day, heist attempt after heist attempt, she realized that Phantom was slowly easing the lock of that cage open.
"You know," Phantom purred, "I'm glad that you're the one who guards the Skaia. Gives me an excuse to talk to you."
Aria raised her chin in the crisp night air, gently clutching the violet stone that hung from gold around her neck. Unamused, she glanced at the thief that sat on the balcony rails, dangling his legs back and forth childishly. He twirled a card between his fingers, skillfully letting it dance between each knuckle and back.
"I'm sorry," she said, placing a hand on the iron railing. "I don't associate with petty thieves."
"Petty?" Phantom hummed, flicking the card. In a blink, it had become a red rose, which he brought to his lips with a small smile, tracing the velvety material over his upper lip. "No, my sweet darling. I'm the greatest there is."
Aria giggled, turning away dismissively. "Oh? Then how come the greatest thief has yet to steal the Empress's jewel?" She began to make for her bedroom door, but paused with her slender fingers over the handle. Her cheek turned, waiting for a response.
"Perhaps I'm not after the jewel."
Startled, Aria spun around to face Phantom. He leaned with an elbow resting on the railing, still twirling the rose's stem between his gloved fingers. His long eyelashes cast shadows on his violet eyes as they gazed at the rose, before he looked back to the Empress. Aria's expression faltered, troubled by the feelings that arose from her thoughts.
Phantom quickly exhaled and extended the rose towards her. "You look better with a smile on your face."
A small smile graced Aria's lips at the prompt, and her hand fell from the door. She went to graciously take the beautiful crimson flower from Phantom's hold, and brought the rose's head to her lips. "The scent is divine...and you had better not say anything about my scent being divine, too," Aria said.
Phantom laughed before narrowing his eyes knowingly, and smirking. "You know me all too well, your grace. I bid you sweet dreams, and I'll see you tomorrow night, perhaps."
"Wait—" Aria quickly said, taking a step towards Phantom. With her free hand, she reached over her shoulder to grasp the gold chain that hung around her neck. "Keep the jewel. I really have no use for it." Phantom protested as she attempted to reach over his head with the chain, but she lightly knocked his raven's beak over his eyes. "It's a gift from me, dummy. Don't be rude about it!"
At first perplexed, Phantom then offered a grateful smile to the Empress, clutching the Skaia as she had done earlier. She retreated back to her door, but threw one last glance over her shoulder.
"Good night, Phantom," she whispered fondly.
"Good night, Aria."
Please, just let them be happy.

Due to being so close to the sky, Phantom is an expert at naming constellations.
