The Halloween festival was in full swing and Pia couldn’t help but smile as she watched Elena and Mateo in their costumes having fun. She had decided not to dress up, instead focused her energy on the kids costumes and she was glad she did. She was in a simply jeans and cream sweater combo, the heeled boots, boosting her height as they always did. She had been surprised to see so many other adults in costumes though; she preferred celebrating Día de Meurtos. 

She kept an eye on her kids as they tried to apple bob, making her way towards a stand selling hot cider. The line was long but finally she got a warm spiced apple cider, sipping it eagerly. She was so focused on not burning her tongue that she ran right into someone and cringed. “Oh, I’m sorry!” she exclaimed, shaking her hand off the few hot drops that had landed on her. “Did I get any on your costume?” she asked, finally realising the person in front of her was dressed up rather wonderfully.

Clark really needed to watch where he was going, especially when he had his son on his hip. However, that wasn’t always so easy, especially when his son got overstimulated by all the bright lights and colors. The teacher ended up getting so distracted by his son and making sure he didn’t accidentally drop his son, that he didn’t really realize he was going to bump into someone until he felt the heavy weight, followed by stumbling. “Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry! Are you okay?!” He asked the person he practically almost trampled, a concerned look on his face.

the halloween festival had to be sunny’s favorite event in mapleview. it was one of those few times his parents actually took time away from their work and spent time with their only child. maybe that’s why sunny found this place to be so special. it was rather unfortunate his son was out of town this weekend visiting his mother. sunny would have loved making memories with him, the way his own parents did.

sunny made his way over to the ferris wheel and hopped right on as there was no line. this came as a surprise, as this was one of the longest lines typically. sunny thought this was going to be a solo ride until damien joined him. sunny had to do a double take because never in a million years did he think they’d cross paths once again. “hey.” he greeted softly.
