I've broken up with my long term fiancee of 6 years and honestly I'm kind of relived. I've had to minimize myself so often i am so excited to start being the main character of my own story again.

I finished a sketchbook recently so ill scan those in when i scan in that painting i finished! I have to relocate my printer which is an activity i haven't had time for but i will do it soon

So blogging. I suppose I should tell you guys about myself more often.. uh. You guys wanna hear about when I broke my leg in a pothole ?

Tw: medical stuff

I was almost 22 and I just uhauled in with who would eventually be my wife it was a crisp September morning but when the sun was still shining

With my disabilities not as bad then' I decided I would go across the street and I would slip into the back parking lot and quickly get us some timbits. As you can imagine from the title's while slipping through and happily mining my own business, I ended up snapping my ankle in a deep deep pothole

The employees and a neighbor were there and helped me and the employee informed me I was the THIRD person to break an ankle in that specific pothole

We ended up going to the hospital and I ended up breaking my ankle at such a weird angle that they had to screw my bones back together with metal

So that's how I ended up with 27 stitches 7 screws and a plate in my ankle!

Very sad that my art gets much less notes then a picture of my cat and a book but on the other hand he's a great cat and it's a great book

I am so tired of a specific kind of artist that will jump on every trend that makes money and then make the most soulless art just to try to make an income. Artist trading cards right now are my example - I think they're super cute!

But the amount of people I see now who have suddenly picked up this new hobby all of a sudden just to go and sell them online is just super gross! I've seen people make the most shitty mushroom art and then complain about why people aren't suddenly buying they're artwork.

It's gross artists are starving enough to limit themselves like that ! It's gross that they ruin art hobbies with inauthentic artwork ! It's gross that we seem to all have this idea that art only exists as a job and not a hobby anymore and i miss the old art community so bad it's unreal.

Does anyone else have like. Personal inside jokes you make with yourself.

Mine is from Minecraft : in every world I make a place called the sleepy place inn. It's just a silly name for somewhere that I've now stuck it into every world I've made just to have the sweet personal satisfaction of laughing at my own joke.

I can't just explain it to people because it's objectively not something funny but it's a inside joke. A little nod to my past of playing the silly block game.
