The @o2apollomanc up next on #mapmymcr I've seen some incredible things here from the insanity of League of Gentleman to photographing Velvet Revolver resulting in a brief odd altercation with Slash back stage and having Duff McKagen say "I like your mind" BUT hands down favourite moment was watching Duran Duran, all older and slightly rounder (except john Taylor who remains a perfect 80s icon ) Simon Lebon was poured perfectly into double denim... not just double denim-WHITE double denim, looking fine and slightly sweating under the lights and the humid breath of a room full of menopausal mums singing along happily, occasionally hurling a pair of panties or a sexy come hither look his way. He danced and nailed a move that resembled the lil plastic machine in the Magic robot game, he brought a full stop to the singing and swinging by spanking his own denim clad butt, a thousand uterus flexed, someone fainted and the lights went out #manchester #mcr #illustration #lettering #archisketcher #design #architecture
