Evaluation

Augmented Reality-Mapping

The initial idea that I want to go through with, is using augmented reality to inform users of important landmarks in the city. Instead of just using google and searching for some information. I want to make the experience more fascinating and user friendly. Because of the time limit I have I plan on showcasing this experience throughout the Benzie building.

The way I will do this is making a series of trackers all over the building, but only the important parts of the building. So for example on the ground floor we have the Café, also we have the A4 more store. On the first floor we have the AV store. Etc. I will attach trackers to the different parts in the building and give some information about the place. I might add some video footage linking to the subject, explaining to the user in semi-hologram version about the place.

I am first going to make one tracker, where I will add normal text explain the place. On the second tracker I will use video footage of me explaining the place like a tour guide.
