My mother took this picture last week and was extremely excited to share it with you. Every day she’s been asking me if I’ve shown it to the nice bug person.

An ID and words of affirmation for my mother would both be appreciated. 😂

Of course I remember! What a beautiful friend this is, tell your mom it was a great find! It’s a mapwing butterfly in the genus Cyrestis :)
