I’m not an insider but I’ve “met one” before. I went to an Ed Sheeran concert back in 2015 and one night when my friend and I were out getting drinks, we started talking to this girl, and she said she was following Ed’s tour like she followed 1D’s tours, and that led into fandom talk. My friend was was not a larrie but I very certainly was, so I was extra keen to hear what she had to say. My friend mentioned something about twitter and the girl started listing all the 1D members and family members that followed her and all the “insider” knowledge she had. No one mentioned Larry, but it was heavily danced around. My friend left for the restroom and the girl turned to me and said something like “I can tell where you stand and I can’t say much but don’t doubt your gut, there’s a reason the rumors won’t die.” Later when my friend returned she said things about zayn and perrie that ended up being unconfirmed truths and hinted at later 1D album things that ended up being true. Most of what we discussed was harmless fandom things but those little bits of specific “knowledge” that later turned out legitimate pushed me closer to believing what she said. (Also I just checked twitter and she is still followed by everyone she originally said.)

OMG that is amazing. I bet there are so many people with similar experiences. Or people who are friends of friends, or friends of family friends who also have heard a lot.
I don't think I would have been able to refrain from asking her questions or follow up questions lol.
I'm glad you were able to get that little bit of inside scoop tho! So true what she said, there's a reason why the rumors won't die.
