Hi Zal I'm the Scott/Kira/Alison anon that asked about the differences in their relationship. I've read the post about the differences in their chemistry but I was more asking about their relationships outside of their chemistry. outside of their chemistry is there anything different about scira vs scallison or Kira and Alison as people that you saw that Scott would like or fall in love with. because other than the chemical way they respond to each other to me it feels like the same relationship.

Ah, I see. Well, I think their chemistry speaks to how they're different as relationships. Scott and Allison were very angsty,

they had the star-crossed dramatics,

very romeo and juliet,

it's very ... young and I don't mean that pejoratively, I mean it in the way there's that exchange "He's sixteen. First love, you remember what that's like" "Trust me, I remember."

Scott has grown into himself more by the time he's with Kira and their dynamic definitely has angst but they're more grounded and steady

Like take the comparison between these two, he's sincere and earnest in both but one is more composed and the other is more frantic

Like very different vibes

Not to mention while Allison and Scott were - she's from a family of hunters, he's a werewolf, oh my god what are they going to do

With Scira, Kira is going through realizing she's a kitsune and grappling with thinking she's a monster and that's something Scott can relate to and help her with

Also, it kind of gets lost because Arden Cho was a literal model and didn't know how to play this well plus the show didn't actually make her this really, but Kira was supposed to be awkward

and Scott is supposed to find her adorable because she's awkward and that wasn't Allison.
