Mara attempted to be quiet as she got up to use the bathroom in the morning, not wanting to wake the sleeping Daniel beside her. She slipped on his shirt that was still on the bed and slid out of bed quietly. Unfortunately, her room was rather cluttered, and with the curtains drawn it was still dark despite the sunrise, and she stubbed her toe on something, hopping and tripping over something else, crashing into the wall with a small yelp as she landed on the floor.
