I read a lot. I'm in a long term relationship with the written word. I’d estimate that I read about a hundred books a year, and uncountable articles, stories and Tweets on top of that. In the last two years, I’ve really focused my attention and energy on books about personal development, organizations, science and spirituality. One of my work besties and I were chatting today about our favorite books when she asked me about my biggest takeaway from one I had recommended. I love the idea of thinking about the major lesson from the books I have read and wanted to share some with you today. Here’s a sample of the books on my Kindle!
A quick note: These books are all amazing and I would highly recommend each and every one. I wanted to challenge myself to capture the highest level insight in the shorter possible phrase. There are hundreds of lessons in each of these books alone and this is far from encompassing!
