Last week, I did a sketch of Mr. Ratburn on one of my many church doodle sketches. Mr. Ratburn, is one of my favorite Arthur characters and one of my favorite fictional teachers of all-time. He is just so funny. Even though he is a teacher, he is a total scrub when it comes to computers and technology! Also as everyone knows, loves cake and desserts! Which is something I love myself haha! He also makes his students work extra hard on assignments and homework. Much to everyone else’s dismay. I know I didn’t do the beginning block-in lines for the eyes right. Since you can’t erase pens. I had to stick with it unfortunately. The eyes however and the angle is correct according to my reference. Also, I know he doesn’t look like he has an eye pupil on his left eye. That’s just the outline of the side of his head and I had to do this very small with a pen, keep in mind. Either way, I am satisfied how this turned out. I do plan on drawing Mr. Ratburn again in the near future fully. But in a more anime-ish style.
