Les devants de ce paletot, fait en drap couleur sable, sont coupés d'un seul morceau avec les basques. On les applique à l'aide de piqûres sur les petits côtés et sur le dos et on garnit le bord inférieur avec plusieurs rangées de piqûres. Les contours des devants et du bord supérieur sont ornés d'une bande de drap rehaussée d'applications en taffetas vert; une garniture semblable souligne les bords des parements et les épaulettes. On complète le paletot par un grand col-pèlerine simplement orné de piqûres.

Chapeau en paille nuance sable, garni d'une draperie et de choux en soie verte. Le grand voile en tulle, bordé d'applications de Chantilly, est posé à plat sur la passe et drapé derrière, de façon à tomber librement sur le visage.

Cet arrangement, très original, est la dernière nouveauté des modes printanières.

The fronts of this paletot, crafted from sand-colored cloth, are cut in a single piece together with the skirt panels. They are attached to the side seams and the back using rows of stitching, and the lower hem is finished with several rows of stitching. The outlines of the fronts and the upper edge are adorned with a band of cloth highlighted by green taffeta appliqués; a similar trim accents the edges of the cuffs and the epaulettes. The paletot is completed by a large pelerine collar, simply embellished with stitching.

A sand-hued straw hat, trimmed with draped fabric and rosettes of green silk. The large tulle veil—edged with Chantilly lace appliqués—is laid flat across the brim and draped at the back so as to fall freely over the face.

This highly original arrangement represents the very latest novelty in spring fashions.
