📸 Deadline Alert - July 31! Fellow image makers - Last year I was awarded the 2018 Meitar Award for Excellence in Photography, which comes with $2500 prize money and a budget of over $10k to produce an exhibition of your work during the following installation of the Is:Rael Photo Festival in Tel Aviv. When I saw my competition recently I was impressed with the quality of submissions that the international saw .. yes, the fee is not cheap (usd54) but the festival does some really wonderful social initiatives with marginalized communities and does NOT accept any government sponsorship, so the money really go to good, *independent* use! Sadly @instagram Seems some of he incredible art I saw and posted here as inappropriate (senseless #censorship) so I am reposting: I had an incredible time @rencontresarles this year, meeting old friends, hustled hard with showing my ongoing work in India to some brilliant and thoughtful curators and artist colleagues. Beyond happy to see @elsitasereia after a long time and so proud of her being in GW shows at Arles this year (!), and to be able to@party with her @mrofoundation and hang with Manuel, @dusankochol and meet her lovey crew @melloioana @glaucianogueira @joaokulcsar @iandephotographie @pedro_kuperman @shinjinagabe (photo-booth selfie!). Once I’ve gotten on a scooter in India there was no going back (well, whenever possible at least).
