this piece of music is so stunning. it’s in the terror soundtrack, i believe it accompanies goodsir’s death scene. it’s just haunting and beautiful.
Crooked (Orcus) Rot by David Firth
There’s some overlap between Marcus Fjellstrom’s Terror and Erebus intro & TNG’s Night Terrors teaser.
Hello, lovely people who liked my Terror flail post. Just want to clarify my wording about the music - I used the term 'post-rock' to try and describe some of the music and a couple of people are (rightly) going 'wtf' at the idea that it could be rock of any sort. I totally agree! My understanding of what's *post*-rock is stuff like Godspeed You Black Emperor, Sigur Ros, Explosions In The Sky and Mogwai - absolutely not rock in any sense, but that kind of highly composed, orchestral, desolate ambient stuff, heavy on guitars and electronics, that has a post-apocalyptic feel to it (Godspeed You did some of the soundtrack for 28 Days Later, for instance). Anyway, I hope that clears that up. I do objectively suck at categorising my music.
