Suzu would find a card jammed into her mail slot, the handwriting made it clear it was from little marcus, inside was a little message

"heard you were crying a lot, so I drew these cats to cheer you up :) I hope you feel better -Marcus"

Inside the card there were, in fact, doodles of black puff balls vaguely resembling cats

Joseph's and Marcus's Christmas gift to Suzu would arrive at her door with a note, there was also one in a same size box for haruo, along with a note

"hey Suzu! I'm sure you probably have plans with the boy you like marcus told me about, so I thought I'd just drop off the christmas gifts we got for you and your dad! Happy whatever you choose to celebrate!"
