She didn’t know anything about cars. But she knew enough to figure that smashing just about anything under the hood would do the trick for a trip to the mechanics’. From there, all it took was finding a hammer, closing her eyes, and taking a blind swing.

“No.” His head whipped back at the sound of her answer, flat and succinct. There was no way she had damaged a two hundred thousand dollar car just to get it fixed by a man that looked like Dwight Shrute as a thumb. “I want...” her gaze scanned the garage before landing on the head of light brown hair that belonged to one Marcus West, “him.”
