Respectfully, I disagree. Humans are wonderful. Yes they can be cruel and mean and nasty but they are also capable of great kindness love and joy. They create the most incredible things and when they work together they can accomplish almost anything. And they sure as hell aren't stupid. Things like rockets and pokedexes and vaccines weren't the works of a few talented individuals, they're the work of millions of years of research from tens of thousands of people all culminating in amazing things.
And we have opposable thumbs, which is pretty neat, I think.
