sometimes she sees slick just standing there and goes Hey. that's my friend and then just kinda picks him up and carries him around (he's learned to deal with it)

i feel like she would absolutely REVEL in the fact that humans have like a cool mystical legend about her just bc she swallowed a weird rock once

i've already talked abt how mareslick's expressions change when you meet him in the nest but marelass changes too!!

when you first encounter her and she's actively trying to kill you, she always stares off at nothing in particular, barely even looking at you,

but when you see her again in the warehouse and she's cooled off and happy to see you, she makes eye contact and speaks a little more open and friendly :) i think that's a nice little detail
