Just finished reading King’s Cage and I am upset. My ship set sail, burning blue as it sunk in the deep black abyss known as my dreams. Deep down, I knew Marecal wouldn’t work. Not with Cal’s commitment issues. Not with him still thinking of the Silvers as ‘his people’. Mare knew it too. But when he promised Mare that he wouldn’t take the thrown, I wanted to believe him.
