Dear readers, Today I am going to speak about something much talked about lately which is The Met Ball. It is the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit, a black-tie extravaganza held the first Monday in May to raise money for the Costume Institute, the only one of the Met’s curatorial departments that has to fund itself. The party marks the opening of the annual hit show’s Costume Institute, and is known for its celebrities and fashion hosts. This year, the exhibition is " Manus x Machina : Fashion in an Age of Technology ", and the hosts are Anna Wintour, president of the gala; Jonathan Ive, Apple's design chief; Taylor Swift; and actor Idris Elba. The honorary chairs are the Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld; Miuccia Prada; and Nicolas Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton’s artistic director.

Moving on to what really matters, I am going to give my opinion about my favourite dresses/clothes that celebrities wore in the red carpet. From my point of view the Kardashian-Wests razed!

The straight-up silver is the best colour. Their styling is on point. Kim wore an awesome bodice, a slicked back hair and a very beautiful ear cuffs her dress is from Balmain and the jewellery is from Lorraine Schwartz. Kayne wore a silver jacket and ripped jeans all from Fear of God. They combines perfectly with their looks.

Kylie Jenner was one of the most beautiful in the red carpet in my opinion. She wore a silver dress from Balmain, Lorraine Schwartz jewellery and Aquazzura shoes. Her dress was a great choice as it highlights her curves.

Rita Ora wore a super original dress, silver with feathers made by Vera Wang. Her earrings are from Lorraine Schwartz.

Kate Hudson wore a dress out of the ordinary. She looked angelical in her strapless wedding dress fluid. Her dress was made in an Atelier Versace and the jewellery from Lorraine Schwartz.

Today I am going to talk you through the new Puma’s Collection. This collection is very special because it was carefully picked by Rihanna. As we can see in the puma official website:  “Rihanna's unstoppable spirit, creative energy and prowess both on and off the stage make her the perfect representation of the PUMA brand” The colours that were used were black, white and grey with various styles from a classic look to a sporty or more relax look fused to create a perfect combination.

The first look that I bring you is the perfect example of what I said before. The boots and the highness socks give to us the notion of something perfect to wear if we want to be comfortable or have a more relaxed look. However, the dress is a more sensual and is in a way more formal piece of clothing.

In the second look we can see the use of highness boots were and still are a tendency of 2016

Lastly, on the third look wore by Taylor Hill, a Victoria Secret model, we can see the combination between a black down body and a white upper body with the use of a simple white shirt.

My personal favourite look is the look wore by Taylor Hill. This was the more sensual and i like the clothes.

As I mentioned in my last post if I could choose a favourite type of food it would be without a doubt Chinese food. That´s the main reason why I chose to speak to you about Chinese cuisine. And now it is the part where you wonder, if I l like to eat dogs ... not quite. Many of you as soon as you hear Chinese food think about cooked dogs or even strangest recipes, I can admit to you that at first, they might seem strange because we are not used to eating this type of food, but after you get used to eat it frequently it has an extraordinary taste. Starting by the use of hashi (typical chopsticks used by the Chinese to replace the cutlery) to the taste, meaning and appearance of food, I can say that Chinese cuisine is quite interesting. This type of cuisine is characterized by its sweetened flavours, pasta and even the meat cooked in soy sauce in order to acquire the reddish colour. The use of hashi comes from the fact that Chinese feel that the food becomes tastier with the use of these devices. For the Chinese, the flavours are very important since they believe that we are surrounded by five energy fields. Bitter is fire, the sour is wood, spicy is metal, sweet is earth and finally salt is water. The most popular dishes are:

Qing Tang Yu Wan - Fish soup dumplings. The soup is clear,  and the fish dumplings  are white and smooth. The soup is made with bacon, mushrooms, bamboo shoots and peas;

Yang Zhou Chao Fan - Fried rice in the manner of Yang Zhou. It is fried rice with bacon, egg, shrimp and seasonal vegetables;

Song Shu Gui Yu - Fish in the form of a squirrel. The fish is fried, served in gold colour sauce. The skin of the fish is crispy and the meat is thin. It has sweet and sour taste. The shape of the fish looks like a squirrel, hence the name of the dish.

I hope you enjoyed, and that by reading my take on Chinese food, you got curious and less suspicious about this wonderful cuisine. I dare you all, to go and try one of the several dishes I mentioned above. My personal favourite is Song Shu Gui Yu, but I want you to discover your own. Don’t be afraid to try new things, you might be surprised.
