An exposed lining, a signature element that first came to life in our ‘Artisanal’ collection, is reinterpreted in the #Margiela5AC. The bag’s lining emerges from the shell, becoming the focal point of its design.

Introducing the 5AC, the first Maison Margiela bag by John Galliano, debuted during our Spring-Summer 2016 Women’s Ready-to-Wear show in Paris. Inspired by creations from the ‘Artisanal’ and ‘Défilé’ Collections, the bag’s lining can be pulled outward, transforming an otherwise hidden detail into a signature design element of the Maison.
