(gonna be annoying) I saw a Kenner Oc, and I am very normal about the family(I mean also arranged marriage plot line), so may I perhaps know more about Margot?

Margot is very much still cooking because I need to refresh myself on Crescent Pack lore to determine the details of her backstory but a brief overview:

She is 5+ years older than Jackson (putting her at early 30s) and is the eldest of the newest generation of the Crescent Pack. Major Eldest Daughter Syndrome with a bunch of extra little siblings she adopted. Jackson got role of pack Alpha before her because it's tradition to pass it on to the eldest son but after he leaves/is chased off at the end of season 1 she claims the role. She also isn't told the best story by Oliver after Jackson leaves so she's half mourned his death by the time he comes back in season 2

The arranged marriage bit comes in with the marriage ceremony and creating the "hybrids" out of the Crescent pack. Jackson tells her his plan to marry Hayley and carry out his arranged marriage for the benefit of the pack. She rejects this plan because 1) she's not gonna let her baby brother enter a loveless marriage and 2) he is very much Not the Alpha of this pack anymore and she has half a mind to put him over her knee for that insult and 3) There's too much of a chance that the ceremony wouldn't even work because he and Hayley are from the same pack so it would be better to do it with someone from a different pack.

So she goes to Klaus with the idea that they should get married for the sake of Hope and the Crescent Pack and he eventually agrees but he's very annoyed about it.

Most of their romance happens after the marriage (they don't properly consumate it for some time) but there's a lot of respect build up beforehand and she takes her vows very seriously even when it pits her against everyone else she knows (including her own pack). So naturally they fall in love a lot sooner than they actually realize it.

Too strong/smart/pretty - Original Heretic is "overpowered" and the fact that she can't be daggered is an ironic nail in the coffin for her

Unforgivable crime of being annoying - not very socially aware and incredibly insecure

Gets in the way of a popular ship - She is a Tyler kisser so she gets in the way of forwood (which she probably wouldn't mind sharing with Caroline if Tyler really wanted to but that would be a whole different conversation)

Anya Mikaelsdottir

Too strong/smart/skilled/perfect - Original Hybrid that has more abilities/strength than Klaus because she was never bound

Kind of annoying - very socially awkward

Was mean to someone - she almost kills Elijah the first time they have an actual conversation. So.

Female - She's a Salvatore sister who does not forgive her brothers for anything

Stereotype/"bad representation"- Mankiller type feminist who also insists on having a full face of makeup and being feminine. Also the racism. Also kisses girls but only specific ones

General Aesthetic:

She does lean more stereotypical tomboy, but in her defense, much of her "self discovery" years were spent stuck as a wolf for 98% of the month so it's not like she's had a lot of time to explore her style. She prefers casual, durable clothing that will last and won't have to be replaced so often. That said, she can dress up when needed and does actually like wearing skirts when the opportunity arises.

Background:

Being the eldest daughter of the Kenner family, and the oldest of the new generation, she had a lot of responsibility placed on her shoulders at a young age. When the bulk of her pack were left stuck as wolves, much of the childcare fell to her. Prior to activating her curse, she was also being groomed for pack leadership alongside her brother, Jackson.

Honestly, aside from being banned from entering the city, Margot didn't have much to complain about in her life. She was a strong wolf, with a strong voice in her pack, and she couldn't have been more proud of the man her little brother grew up to be.

Then a girl with a miracle baby showed up, and things got complicated.

Margot doesn't like vampires, and she really doesn't like the Mikaelsons, but there's something about this "hybrid" that keeps drawing her eye.....
