genuinely people have such little respect for fanfic writers. it's infuriating to have to say this but DO NOT FEED OUR WORKS TO AI WITHOUT OUR CONSENT!!!! we do this work for free and because we enjoy it and want to spread that happiness/comfort to others. we don't write so you can fuel your water-wasting addiction that you can't kick despite all the horrible problems with AI. in fact, fan fiction is an amazing alternative that doesn't waste our natural resources or cause droughts around the world!!!
personally, its hard for me to find the motivation to write. my mental health has been on the decline and motivation for anything is at an all time low. seeing people do this makes me want to write even less. again, we do this work for free!! do not exploit this fact!!
you like our works? then interact with the post!!! you want more story?? then talk to us about it!!!!!! we are people too and we deserve respect. can't get more to a story? then you write it! so what if you think it's bad? it's better than AI slop!!
tldr: be greatful for fanfic authors and don't feed our works to AI.
