001. .   .   .   kills the spider

maria most definitely kills the spider, and clint complains every single time she does it.

002. .   .   .   proposed

neither of them. their lives don’t really let them consider the idea of marriage. not to bring up a cliche, but it’d be too dangerous if anyone ever found out. although.... truthfully i could see maria sacrificing clint for the greater good. and vise versa. it’s kind of what they’re trained to do. personal relationships aren’t meant to impact field decisions.

probably clint? his logic behind kissing her first being that it’d probably be less.... messy if he did. as in potential blow-back if HR got involved wouldn’t be as great on maria because she didn’t initiate things. 

004.  .   .   .   initiates things

clint, normally, for the reason above. always behind closed doors though. i imagine they’d keep their relationship very much under wraps. 

005.  .   .   .   would leave the other

i feel like it’d be maria that would leave clint. 

006.  .   .   .   is more jealous

i don’t really see either of them being jealous. maria isn’t in a position clint would be envious of. the pressure of being director/assistant director isn’t something he’d want. and truthfully... they’d both be very secure in their relationship if they ever had one. 

007.  .   .   .   is lazier

clint for sure both in personal and professional life. he doesn’t have anywhere near the amount of work maria does. 

008.  .   .   .   sends weird texts at 3 AM

clint normally. it’s mainly to get her attention and get her to take even a short break from work. 

009.   .   .   .  is more experienced

mmmmm depends. in a relationship area, i feel like clint has more experience. but professionally, maria. definitely maria. there’s a reason she’s a higher rank than him. 

010.   .   .   .  said i love you first

mmmm probably clint honestly. probably when he thought she couldn’t hear him.
