There was nothing Edgar’s mother, Elena Araña, could do about it because she was knocked unconscious by the predator trying to help her husband. Charley’s mother had died of an accident in the church during its construction before Wesley became a Reverend of the church. Barley’s the only one with two parents out of the three.)
