Following up my previous post, I think I’m going to try changing up my pets’ looks at least monthly, because I’m somehow way more into dress-up games than I used to be. So I came up with winter looks for my pets.

This is part three of a story I'm generating randomly! Read from the beginning here!
For those that missed the context, I'm telling a 50k word story, 1000 word pictures at a time! The starting prompt from the Story Generator is:
"The story is about a courageous barbarian and a healthy cab driver. It takes place in a condominium in an outpost. The story begins with an eavesdropping and ends with someone going to sleep."
So I figured out what my next theme is. This month is NaNoWriMo, in which writers have to write a 50,000 word novel. Well, if a picture is worth 1000 words, that means I only need to tell a story in 50 pictures, right?
Throughout this month, I'm going to be telling a story solely through customization images, and short prompts generated by Seventh Sanctum. My starting prompt is from the Story Generator, and is:
"The story is about a courageous barbarian and a healthy cab driver. It takes place in a condominium in an outpost. The story begins with an eavesdropping and ends with someone going to sleep."
Every second post (posts will have 2-3 customization images per) will have a twist generated by the Plot Twist Generator, and I'm going to try and choose the first one that even slightly makes sense. Will this lead to a cohesive story? Probably not!
I've already generated my first few twists, so I can introduce my lead actors and their roles:
So I’m getting back into Neopets, and these are what my pets looked like for. Years.
Jinzo, the buzz: Fashion mostly looks alright! The gear belt, not great! I think the only reason I gave him a belt was because artists can’t agree on where Neopets’ waists are and that was the only way to stop him from baring his midriff. (Honestly I should’ve just let him, that seems more fitting than some weird steampunk belt.)
Hola, the kacheek: Mostly pretty okay! I think I did alright on color choices. The skirt looks a bit weird with the outfit on reflection, but I think I mostly did okay.
Marik, the chia: Here’s where things take a turn. The whole “weird nerd wizard” look definitely comes through, but the Shenkuu jersey and the 8-bit staff are very bad.
Viris, the grundo: This is just bad. I remember why he has a marshmallow hat, it’s because that was the closest thing I could get to a chef’s hat. The apron and shoes are disgusting, and I don’t know if the implication is he made all of those pies in that frying pan. 0/10.
