So...here’s the pictures in the Atherys Texture Pack I promised (like a years ago .x.).

Highlights: The bridge, how good stained clay looks with acacia wood, having a variety of colors without a build looking like its crazy (imo).

This was also my last build on the marimocraft server before leaving minecraft for a while.

im just gonna gush abt marimocraft bc i really. really miss that

i think for my birthday in 2014 i got a copy of minecraft??  at the time a few of my friends, including my ex and jac were friends with semi famous tungler users matt and dee, and we fucked around on their server until we got bored of them lmao. 

idk how, i think it was reblogged onto my dash, but i heard about marimocraft and so jac and i just hopped on one day!! i dont remember much from the first map that i joined, which all i can remember is that it had the hot air balloons, but i did have SO MUCH FUN the two maps/resets after that.  

rn im just gonna?? try and remember as much as i can, or at least my favorite memories

ANYWAY the first thing i remember vividly is that i was probably playing parkour, or just exploring late at night real time, there were a few of us on the server so i was just complaining abt timezones, when i happened to meet ang/corvuk and we discovered we both lived in perth?? it was so neat and we just bonded over that, and seeing as i wasnt already in a faction ang invited me to join aurelex!! im pretty sure thats also how jac and i became friends with lynn.

i remember our underground base where i made the shoddiest room with leaves and a caged chicken, and in the next reset we had that MASSIVE jungle temple/underground structure which was probably 75% farms and stables, where i named my horses after pmmm witches or just really ridiculous stuff. before we found the temple though, we had that village with all the horses leashed to the well? i just remember that one time we kept spamming the moonbase alpha quotes idk.

but seeing as i absolutely hated mining i just instead opened a wood business? and u might laugh but it was INCREDIBLY successful. I just had all my teleports set as the locations for all the different wood, n i also sold vines, lilypads, and left over saplings that i couldnt be bothered planting. both times i set up shop, shibe helped build my pirate ship ( my store was called “Tetras pirate ship shop” yall i had a theme going on it was so great) 

another time shibe gave ang and i permission to recreate floaroma town (from pokemon dpp) which i think we got done in one or two nights? i was hell proud of my florist and pokemart, ang put down all the flowers and i think he made the houses? i also built a hidden fairy fountain. shibe also helped, i dont remember if jac did, but someone i dont remember helped out too with the terraforming. that person also built a giant dick which we then put lava on, we hid record players playing that really creepy song, and ang spawned hundreds of horses named jimothy timothy and when we tried to kill them all with splash potions, the server crashed. good times indeed

and a few times when jac was building their house ang and i kept spawning squids and cats, and the second time i kept stealing their doors with lynn?? i have no recollection of what my private houses looked like (actually i think i do, the first reset i think i made one that was supposed to be similar to a general video game house? i can vaguely remember.) hell, i dont even remember what my area looked like in the aurelex jungle temple either...if i did get my own area 

also i remember that rose cafe on the hill, the casino, and the outside of aurelex’s underground base which was a short walk from my original house i think??? 

OH!!! there was that really fun time that while exploring, aurelex stumbled upon flower??Roofed forest?? with a lake, an island and a few trees, and we spent so much time making the tree taller and launching off it in boats on a jumping board. man i loved aurelex so much. there was that one time ang offered to build me a pirate ship, and he’d even built the hull out of glass so we went to work making it in wood, but we never got to finish...that would have been the coolest house ever man 

i think there were two resets/spawns or whatever before it was shut down but i think i was just too busy to keep playing which is a shame, bc i honestly had so much fun and i really miss it lmao. i made so many great friends through marimocraft and i dont think i was ever bored, bc there was always stuff to do (and by that the majority of time we just mucked around. it was either that or me spending days collecting wood for my shop, it was great) 

YEAH i still love marimocraft and all my friends so much, even tho i havent played minecraft in over 2 years i miss that so much. thanks for tuning in

Goodbye MarimoCraft.

It is with great sadness that I announce the discontinuation of the MarimoCraft server.

I am no longer able to provide the maintenance, attention, and financial stability that this server needs to continue, and that has reflected in its activity.

 As of 9/9/2015 the server will close and will likely not restart.

Thank you Marimo’s for your support during MarimoCraft’s span, and for all the adventures that we have shared. Thank you MarimoStaff for your endless support in creating what we knew Marimo could be. Thank you to everyone that contributed in making MarimoCraft as successful as it has been.
