I'm rewatching the Super Mario Bros movie his background noise and I didn't even notice the glass Joe from Punch-Out Easter egg the first time

Also I'm still convinced that the Mario Bros have some sort of dwarfism in the movie isn't exactly disproving that HC

Not really a question but OMG I love your art so much!!! You add so much life to the mario gang. I especially love the way you draw mario and his facial expressions! Dunno what to ask here but uhhh what's your favorite mario enemy? Personally I think the boos are really cute

Boos are indeed very cute! I've always found them quite amusing and fun to go up against in any level or mission! :3 As much as idle obstacles as direct adversaries, they can be both endearing and somewhat threatening, which always offers a good balance. 👻💙 As for me, I'd say my favorite Mario enemies would probably have to be the Bob-ombs! I just love these little guys. ☺️ Dangerous? Yes. Potentially life-threatening? Also yes. But they're so goshdarn adorable at the same time, I can never stay mad at any of them despite them being literal weapons used against me. Come to think of it, they remind me a lot of the Turrets from Portal! 💕 If you know, you'll know. 😄

I’m glad you’re on the fence about Mario being absolutely both in shape and in general a friendly little guy

That's because I see him as exactly both! 😄 He runs and jumps around so much, he obviously has great cardio and a lot of physical endurance. Because of this, me thinks he must be quite fit, but not in the muscular sense of the word! More like... sporty and robust. A hearty, strong little fellow. :3

I still haven't settled on an precise set of proportions for him yet (I keep altering the length of his legs xD), but I'm glad this mix between sturdy and cute bean is somewhat visible in my art. That's the way I love him. 😌❤
