Playing against the Mario Party CPUs in the past was usually just a curbstomp, so it was really nice change of pace to have Superstars actually give them a little punch

I wanted to have this piece done before I finished my fanfic but... time escaped me. ah well. x’D

It was meant to be a kinda reimagining of the scene from Beauty and the Beast since where Beast is staring down at Belle from the balcony, seeing as that King Boo story was inspired by that fairytale. But ah. Better late than never I guess?

A ghost-themed galaxy has got to show up in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie for a number of reasons:

1. Haunted locations are a staple of most mainline Mario games, including Super Mario Galaxy 1&2

2. One of the few plot points of Super Mario Galaxy is springing Luigi out of a ghost-infested planet

3. Luigi’s relationship with/fear of ghosts is one of his most widely recognized character traits

4. Introducing boos into the cinematic universe will prep the groundwork for a hypothetical Luigi’s Mansion movie

5. I want them to show up really badly
