Marisol: This is a beautiful property, Finch! Do you own it yourself? Finch: Pretty much. My Grandmother and sister both live here with me, I care for them. They're not capable of functioning on their own. [Taps temple]

Marisol: Ohhh, I understand. That's very sweet of you to care for them. Listen, I... I'm sorry your plan for Skye didn't work. I tried talking to her, but there's no way she'd leave her husband. No matter how much of a catch you are...

Finch: Huh? Oh no, don't worry about it. I think it was just kind of a last ditch effort to win her over, but... I guess it wasn't enough. I'll be fine though, thank you anyway. Marisol: You really like her don't you? Finch: [Shrugs] I guess you can say that. She was always really nice to be me, and she's so pretty and tall and cool. I don't know, it's whatever...

Marisol: It's a shame there's no one else out there who looks similar to her, who you have a lot in common with, who's also really nice to you... and -even taller-...

Finch: [Sigh] Yeah. Except maybe- wait...

Clementine: What is it, Finch? Finch: I was hoping for a quick word with the bride. It won't take long.

Salem: Want me to kick him out? The wedding will go on just fine with one less barking Sparrow.

Skye: [laughter] No, I can handle him. Thanks though. Clementine: Very well. Come on darling, let's go check on Cat, shall we?

Finch: Skye you look... breathtaking! I can't believe it, you're really getting married, huh? I uh... Cat is a really lucky man.

Skye: Aww, thanks Finch! Finch: You know it's not too late to change your m-

Skye: Finch...

Finch: I know I know! Relax, that's not what this is about. I have a gift for you.

Finch: Marisol?

Marisol: Um hi... I'm sorry I know this is so weird... Skye was confused but smiled politely. Skye: I uh... Do I...?

Finch: This is Marisol. She's your sister. Well cousin. Both, sister and cousin. Sort of... I'll explain it all in a sec, but um... surprise!

[mosneakers]

Skye: Are you sure you don't want me to introduce you to our family? I'm sure they'd love to meet you after all these years.

Marisol: No, really it's okay. I'm not quite ready to meet them all, yet. Although it was very insightful seeing them at the wedding. I wonder if any of them suspected I was related. Skye: Well if you ever change your mind, just let me know, and I'll set something up. Marisol: Thanks, I will! Skye: So tell me about yourself! I've talked enough about me.

Marisol: Oh, it's not all that interesting. Definitely not as interesting as marrying into a family full of spellcasters! As for me, I began modeling as a teenager, then I graduated from University of Britechester as a business major while continuing my modeling career, which is what I currently do now when I'm not traveling.

I was adopted by Wallice and Anita Perry. My father was a respected archeology professor and my mother was a best-selling author. They're both retired now. I was fortunate enough to be adopted into a pretty wealthy family, and we've traveled the world, so I'd say everything turned out for the better. Still, I wonder what it would have been like to grow up knowing spellcasters!

Skye: Well it hasn't been the best childhood, but Cat and his family have really made it special for me. The Darlings... They're something else, certainly, but I'm blessed to have them. [Smiles]

[mosneakers]

Finch: You're not hinting at yourself, are you? Marisol: What if I am? Finch: You couldn't be interested in me. I haven't even taken advantage of any of your insecurities and emotionally blackmailed you with them!

Marisol: What if I told you that you could be in a successful relationship without doing those things?

Finch: Me? Pft.

Marisol: I'm serious. Finch! I actually find you extremely-

Marisol's confession was suddenly interrupted by a large flash of light and sparkles, as well as a loud, strange blast of sound that could be described as -forbidden magic-

Finch: Damn it, Robin!!! Marisol: What was that? Is everything okay? Finch: Look, I have to go check on my sister. Wait here and uh...

...hold that thought! (please)

[mosneakers]

Marisol: ... And Finch? Skye: What about him? Marisol: Is he a Darling you feel blessed to have? I don't know if you've noticed, but he's clearly trying to win you over. Why else would someone contact your long-lost sister? I've got to admit, it's quite an elaborate ruse.

Skye: [chuckles] Yeahhh, that's Finch for ya. Not exactly subtle is he? He means well though, he does. He developed feelings for me a while back, and just doesn't know how to handle them. It's actually kind of endearing.

Marisol: I concur! I'd be flattered. I have a bit of a personal question for you... Skye: Of course, ask away! We are sisters after all. [smile]

Marisol: Have you... considered it?

Skye: Considered what? Finch? Marisol: Well yes, he seems like he really cares about you, and from what I understand he is a pretty well-rounded fellow.

Skye: Absolutely not. Finch is a wonderful friend, but Cat and I have an unmistakable bond. I grew up with him. Marisol: Of course, right. Would you consider Finch if it weren't for Caterpillar? Skye: Hm, good question. I don't think so, to be honest. He's incredibly sweet, and he's cute, but... His side of the family, the Sparrows, kind of grew up in their own little bubble. They don't really have a good understanding of the real world. He's one of 10 siblings and all of them have had everything handed to them on a silver spoon. Marisol: Oh? Skye: [Sigh] Yeah. Really the only down-to-earth one is my best friend, Owlie. She's pretty cool. And sometimes Robin. But really, that family is so rich they've lost touch with reality.

Marisol: Rich, you say? Interesting...

Skye: What? Finch? What did you do?

Finch: I did some research. I know our side of the family is so big... I thought you'd like to fill some chairs with some of yours. You know, once you marry Caterpillar, your life is going to be completely Darling related. Darling this, Darling that. But your history is intricate and beautiful too, just like you are...

Finch: See, before you were even born. Before your mother and father fell in love... Your dad, Dirk, and your aunt, Lilith were an item. High school sweethearts. They had a baby when they were young, but couldn't afford to raise her, so she was adopted into a loving home, the Perrys.

Marisol: And none of them have any idea I'm here. But your friend here, tracked me down and reached out to me. My family loves me dearly and raised me really well, but when I found out I have a little sister out there... I had to take him up on the offer.

Skye: Woah... Finch... I don't know what to say...

Finch: You don't need to say anything. I just want you to know how important you are. In big Darling events like this, it can be hard to remember. I'll um... let you two get acquainted.
