The moment she met Ryleigh, she knew she was going to love her. She was so gentle and soft, she knew that they would get along. She was happy that Sadie introduced them to each other, what with the young blonde having stayed with her girlfriend for awhile. Sadie has such a compassionate and genuinely warm heart; It truly was one of the reasons why she loves her so much. Being at the store to stock up on a few items, she had walked past the aisle before realizing that Ryleigh was there. She made a quick turn around and headed back her way. She beamed brightly as she headed for the blonde. “Yes, of course!” Marisol wasn’t necessarily tall herself, standing at around 5′6″. But she had a higher advantage than the other girl and therefor, was able to reach up for the item. “I swear, they do this sort of thing on purpose,” she giggled softly. Shaking her head, she held the food colouring out to Ryleigh. The brunette held a warm smile to her. “How have you been? It feels like it’s been forever since I’ve last gotten the chance to speak with you! We should really have lunch together sometime, if you want.” She truly did want to grow a friendship with her. She was so kind and adorable, it was hard not to like her. Plus, there was nothing wrong with gaining more friends. Especially if she is going to end up be living in Dayton for awhile. She wasn’t sure if Dayton was going to be the final destination; But for now, it seemed like it. She just knew that she wanted her future to involve Sadie and eventually more of their lovers. Wherever that may be, as long as they’re all still together and loving each other. May it be in Dayton, may it be somewhere else. But for now, Dayton was her home. And she intends to make more friends while living here.
A familiar face! Ryleigh beams at Marisol when she realizes whose attention she’s able to catch. “Marisol!” She’s genuinely happy to see the other woman as it’s been a week since she moved in with her brother and between settling in with him and trying to figure out a routine on top of working at Take the Cake after Sadie so kindly offered her a job, she hasn’t had a chance to catch up with Marisol since she’d left Sadie’s place. “They do. I’m pretty sure it’s a conspiracy,” she sighs, immediately reaching for the small box as it’s held out to her. Marisol was as warm as Sadie was kind and it was no wonder to Ryleigh why the two were so compatible. “I’ve been good! Settling in with Aiden, tryin’ to... it’s been a while since we’ve seen one another so it’s been an interesting few days,” Ryleigh answers with a quiet laugh after tossing the small box into her cart. “I would absolutely love to have lunch with you, Marisol,” she adds, almost surprised, though she really shouldn’t be. As thankful as Ryleigh is for Sadie, she’d mostly felt like a real burden when it came down to it. She’d had nowhere else to stay and since Sadie had been the one to help Ryleigh made her final decision on where she was going to end up after leaving New York, she’d been offered a place to stay for a short while. She adored the woman for her open heart, but Ryleigh never wanted to be in the way or underfoot, which is why she’d made it a point to reach out to her brother as soon as possible. She would’ve managed sooner had Aiden bothered to answer his phone, but that was all in the past, now, and things were finally looking up. “Do you have my number? I know Sadie does, but I can give it to you just in case, so we an set something up if you’d like?”
