That 25th Blue's Clues Anniversary actually made me realize something...

You know what was so good about Steve Burns? What separated him from other preschool tv show hosts? He didn't talk to the child audience like they were babies. Even tho it would've been appropriate, he didn't put on this phony, cutesy energy that drove parents crazy or would've driven our adult selves crazy either.

The guy just simply talked. He talked to little us like we were his fellow co-eds at the water cooler in an office or something; like we were equals or actual friends.

To this day, I've watched some reruns of old school Blue's Clues and never realized how calming his voice is?? How casual and chill?? Even the hosts my other preschool favorites like The Wiggles, Barney, or Dora The Explorer would've made me tap out to a degree bc of their over the top energy. But no, Steve was one of a kind as a host and I gotta thank him for that.

Me watching Encanto: Not sure if Bruno performing his little rituals is superstition or OCD

Obviously his family always told him he was bad luck, but as someone who went/goes through rituals to calm myself, I couldn't help but wonder...

I highly doubt it, but thinking about the Edge of Sleep tv series got me pondering about how much I would love merch from it. I doubt they'll have any, but a few ideas for them would include, but not limited to:

T-Shirts featuring the Moobles, only the graphic is designed to look like a retro movie poster

Coffee mugs (obviously) with the Modafinil logo on it

Whale/elephant pendants; of course they would have little details that differ from the usual. The whale would have seaweed dangling from its mouth, the elephant may or may not have a black triangle on it.

Maybe mooble plushes? Idk I'm writing this as I go along.

The rest of it would be your average T-shirts with the podcast's official logo. Maybe some would throw in a whale or elephant on some.
