Over time many of these laws have been amended, eradicated, or altogether rewritten to be inclusive of everyone. Gun laws, have worked against us more often than not. #MarissaAlexander who was a documented victim of domestic abuse, was DENIED the “stand your ground defense”. So a #blackwoman with a history of being abused is denied that benefit of doubt, but a WHITE FEMALE OFFICER who KILLED AN INNOCENT MAN IN HIS OWN HOME is given it.
