Marius's forever weed brownie

Its been a while since i drew anything under the devils moon related, so have this shitpost comic lol. sorry not sorry for the cursed expressions. i do wanna get back into drawing utdm more but we'll see.

I don't imagine Jack is at that point where he feels comfortable enough taking the lords name in vain so i changed it from ''oh my gosh'' to ''oh no'', a little background fun fact for you.

The gang indulges in some unrestrained summer fun!

This has been a wip for gosh knows how long, but I managed to get it done. It started with just Maire but then everyone got to join in.

The gang mostly belongs to @libras-interactives Lottie belongs to @maryannsstrawberry i belive. So sorry for misattributing her to Libra. Who has custody of Little Lottie I'm still unsure of tho.

We’ll go from left to right

Jack: I feel like if Jack is going to the beach he need some protection from the sun. So along with a early 1920s style mens swimsuit, he’s also got a sun hat and a housecoat. I based it of a womans house coat as they look very light and breathable which probably helps with the heat while keeping him safe from sun. House coats were also generally not uncomon to wear on the beach. I also just like messing around with gender presentation in my art. I’m sure Marius approves.

Marius: Marius is sporting a mens bathing suit from the late 1920s. As he is very fashion forward I felt it fit him to wear something a bit more up to date. His fur pattern does make it look like he was wearing shorts and a t shirt and got sunburned lol. I based his fur on Eveline’s and the photos of the cat he was based on. Maybe a gradient would make it look a bit less silly idk. Feel free to weigh in if you have any ideas.

Eveline: I know Eveline prefers clothing from the late 1900-1910s more but I really loved how she looked with her hair up. I based her bathing suit on a 1920s version but added a few flairs to give it a bit more of a retro vibe for the time.

The Lotties: I gave Lottie a bathing suit with a belt and a cap. As per the laws of the Lackadaisy-verse her ears are tucked safely into her cap. No ear holes here. I wanted to give her a beach bag but I couldn't find any type of purse specifically for that so she’s got a shopping bag instead. I felt she needed somewhere to keep little Lottie's beach toys and sun screen, speaking of: She is wearing a very normal child's bathing suit. Not much to say on it. I focused more on her posing than her fashion.

Máire: the original name for this drawing when I was just planning on drawing her was bathing beauties… Anyway, she strikes me as someone who uses her time at the beach to relax and look good while doing it. Her swimsuit is based on something I saw on Pinterest. It had flowers painted on it which strikes me more as being ornamental. Shes also a pair of fashionable heals and a parasol.

And last but not least Malwina: Malvina’s bathing suit is technically from 1926, so maybe she is just way ahead of the trends. Her shoes are laced beach shoes. I feel like shed take the opertunity to enjoy the fresh air, and swim in the cooling water. Maybe check out some cute boys. I think shed enjoy having a day where she can just be a normal teenager.

Mc is probably around. Maybe off buying soda pops for everyone.

Take Me Out to The Ball Game ♫

This ended up taking me way longer to finish than i expected. The uniform are based on the Chicago and st Louis uniforms from the time period, with Marius and Jack sporting the road versions. Source

I don't know if the uniforms had fem versions as well that looked like this but i thought it would be more visually interesting for them all to be a bit different individually.

Other than that i played around with Eveline's colors a bit. I thought it might be neat if her fur was a bit more muted than Marius' to reflect her current mental health.

Eyyy some more practice sketches

Just some Marius expressions and another Eveline in the middle of just doing her thing. I feel like i cant do Marius justice when i draw him. he always comes out looking more cute than id liked. Not that he isn't, i just wish i could capture some of his cheeky ''I look better than you and i know it'' vibes.

The last time i drew Eveline in pj's it was something a bit more trendy but i'll admits its probably not really like whats described or her style i general. so it used this opportunity to practice drawing some clothing folds and gave her something shed be more likely to wear when snoozing. I can very clearly see her rockin' the scrooge fit, with a hat and candle stick holder.

What i think the utdm cast would do in Minecraft

Marius - starts every new game by locating and robbing the nearest village, pretends to be your Minecart gf so you'll give him your diamonds, makes everyone pride flags via banners, goal is to craft an entire netherite set of armor. skin = cute anime egirl 

Jack - usually does what his friends do and goes on a creeper killing spree if his house gets blown up, fixes up the villages Marius raids and builds them an iron golem. Gets really into the trading system cuz he likes to see the villagers level up. skin = Enderman 

Eveline - plays in creative or easy mode to relax. Likes making redstone and musicbox contraptions, and collecting all the jukebox disks, will let the game play in the background just to listen to the music, can't stop taming parrots. skin = something artistic, like a straight up detailed pixel drawing of a bird or flower 

Lottie and little L - they have a peaceful server where they built a farm and have a bunch of farm animals, have either a cutesy pink texture pack or a cottage core inspired one. skin = Pink princess and queen of hearts

Malwina - does Minecraft role-play, wasn't initially into building but started so she could make set pieces and environments for her rp’s, downloads mods with new decorations and custom blocks for her builds, helps little L and Lottie build cute houses inspired by Victorian architecture. = custom skin that's her sona 

Máire - would have to be convinced to start playing by a friend, like jack she just follows someone else’s lead but will eventually get really into enchanting and making potions cuz the sounds are very asmr. skin = something witchy 

Sylvester - wouldn't get into it on his own but his kids love it so he and his wife got it so they can play with them and participate in any Minecraft related conversations around the dinner table, they just wanna show that they care about their kids interests. skin = Steve (his kids eventually change his and his wife's skin to Morticia and Gomez Addams)

Flynn - makes a server just so he can abuse his admin powers and greef people, would never admit to anyone that he plays Minecraft. skin = creeper with a suit 

Cora - lore expert, makes YouTube theory videos, even plays the spin of games and tries to haphazardly fit them together into one universe. skin = Herobrine
