Some for-fun studies of the Iron Monger and Hulkbuster suits from Iron Man 1 and Age of Ultron.
Hulkbuster update: Shoulders completed. The gold parts of this model are consistently the hardest to build. I am finally in the home stretch!
Sweet Honey
Mark 44 || Science Bros
Tony sat at his light board sketching out a new model, Mark 44 in the works currently. The last model wasn’t really anything special, just a few upgrades in the mark 42. Bugs that desperately needed fixing. Tony felt like this was the first time in a long time he’d had the time to sit down and actually work on new ideas for his own suits. He had taken Harley’s advice and was trying to see if Stealth Iron Man was a good idea.
Tony had one page filled with all the main components of the Iron man suit, the bare minimums, taped down to the light board and he currently held another piece over it and was trying to add in the paneling that would make it stealthy, and yet keep the same look that all the other suits had. He sighed balling up the piece of paper and throwing it into the already full waist basket.
“Sir, would you like me to draw up some references?” Jarvis’ voice filled the room. Tony gave up on his hand drawn sketches and leaned back in his chair.
“Give ‘em to me J.” He said his eyes scanning the options Jarvis brought up of different panels. “Bring up the minimalist sketch.” he instucted, He palled up a few of the panels before the sketch was fully available, throwing them into the trash can. He slid a few onto the suit, twisting them until he could see what the effect would be. He paused liked the last one he’d maneuvered, stepping back to see his work.
The door clicked open behind him but he didn’t turn around, he’d installed a key pad onto the door, (without SHIELD knowing of course) so whoever was coming in was someone who knew the code. Then the familiar sound of Bruce Banner’s warn shoes padding against the tile floor filled the silence.
“What do you think?” Tony asked motioning to the suit, still not turning to look at Bruce.
