Somsthing I thought of watching Iron Man Armored Adventures? Stane's Iron Monger is...REALLY impractical if he plans to sell it as a weapon to militaries. Like, not only does it not fly like in the movies and need to be HELIOCPTERED to far off locations, but its made of freaking Adamantium/Vibranium. And like, that SOUNDS cool, but considering those are the two most rare metals on Earth, that would no doubt make the Iron Monger WAY too expensive to be purchased. Even by the US Government.
And there's the fact that it's slow. Like, Iron Man's armor is small and its defense is weaker, but it's faster and that allows it to take on enemies quicker and more efficiently. The Iron Monger couldn't even put one foot in front of the other without assistance.
Iron Man Legends: Iron Monger
Obadiah Stane first appeared in 1982 as a ruthless and cunning business partner of Tony Stark, who discovers the schematics for the Iron Man suit in Tony's office, assigning a team to recreate the suit and make it superior to Tony's in every way as part of a scheme to force Tony from his company.
In a new adaptation, as the MCU mostly did that story justice, I think I'd make Stane part of a coalition with Justin Hammer and maybe people like Edwin Cord to force Tony from his company after the whole Sentinel debacle. Tony would then leave all access to his tech to Rhodey, leading to Stane trying through all of the War Machine series to get his hands on any of them, probably with him becoming Iron Monger in the big finale. As for casting, Jeff Bridges could come back if he wanted, but I could also see someone like John Malkovitch playing him.

Oh, else, forgot that fake story Obadiah Stane died in a plane crash because I totally did. I thought people knew he was iron monger.
