As promised, just as I posted/updated my old Transformers fan cast list for the Autobots, I did the same with the Decepticons. This one was a bit more difficult to narrow down but fun to sort through nonetheless:
Starscream - Hank Azaria or Alex Brightman
I originally had Willem Dafoe as my pick for Ol' Screamer, as he was a very popular (and good) choice among other fans when I first made this list.
But now I think the extensive (and high-pitched) vocal ranges of either Hank Azaria or Alex Brightman would be perfect for him.
Soundwave - Kevin Michael Richardson
When I first made this list, I thought Auto's text-to-speech PlainTalk voice from WALL-E would be a neat choice for Soundwave, as if he erased his own emotions. Until I learned they already used that idea for Perceptor in Animated (along with how fragging awful AI is).
KMR's no stranger to playing villainous characters. Put a vocoder effect on top of that iconic deep voice of his and you'd have one badass Soundwave.
Shockwave - Zachary Quinto
I mean, he was always envisioned as an evil robot version of Spock.
Barricade - John DiMaggio
Bender/Rath as an evil, aggressive and violent cop. YYYep.
Brawl - Mark Acheson
Ever since first hearing him as Lord Tirek and Sabretooth, I always had him in mind for this angry tank 'Con.
Quintesson Judge - Andy Serkis
Given his wide range, I think he could pull off five distinctive voices and personalities for the leader of the Quintessons.
Unicron - Benedict Cumberbatch
Unicron has had some good voice actors over the decades of Transformers, but it's quite hard for anyone to top Orson Welles' iconic monstrous performance as the Chaos Bringer.
Having said that... I think Benedict Cumberbatch with his Smaug voice would come pretty damn close.

Mark Acheson (Tirek) is such a sweetheart, the way he got flustered by Sunni. It was his first panel, after all. He and Sunni Westbrook (Cozy Glow) have such a sweet friendship off-screen, it’s adorable.
