YOU ARE MY DOVE Fri Feb 8th 1991
You had a three-year rave phase at the Haçienda in the late 1980s. Did you ever try to make dance music? Noel: When those ecstasy pills came out called doves I did a track with (future Oasis producer) Mark Coyle called You Are My Dove. It sounded a bit like Sneaker Pimps.

Lot 280. Oasis Demo Tapes, 1991 and 1992
“i didn’t understand what ‘feeling supersonic’ meant. but i’m with you. whatever it is. i’ll die for you right now. that’s how i felt about oasis.”
metal af, coyle.
Supersonic (2016)
The Oasis documentary. Mat Whitehall’s film about the rise and rise of the Brother’s Gallagher in the mid 90s that them proclaiming themselves the biggest band in the World playing biggest Concerts in UK History at Knebworth Park (the record was broken again shortly after by that Fat piece of Shit from Take That).
This is not a bad movie. It focuses on a short, mad time and as mentioned above does not drift in the 00s when things went rather south. It is a film with tales of hi-jinx, drugs and fighting. It is very laddy, it will appeal to most but especially to those mid 90s fans with the terrible haircuts.
This movie, like the band has swagger and spirit and like them is rather amusing and very quotable. Noel in particular really is a very amusing chap whilst Liam is less of dick that you he might appear.
This uses photographs and rare real footage rather than talking heads and has some nice live and rare versions of the classic Definitely Maybe and What’s The Story era songs.
Not a huge expose but a nice commemorative, celebration piece that I found thoroughly entertaining.
"What can I say you know. I'm a bit of a cunt!"
"I guess in some way my Father beat the talent into me".
“Oasis was like a Ferrari: great to look at, great to drive, and it’ll fucking spin out of control every now and again”.
“It was fucking biblical, man”.
“We were just lads from a council estate. Two brothers. Head cases”.

Those three years in the Haçienda, that was life. The outside world did not exist, the future didn't exist. It was just the nightclub and the music and the drugs.

Ecstasy Dove pill. One of the original doves making the rounds of Manchester in 1988.
Does anyone know where Mark Coyle is today ? Did he even go to a reunion show ?
Também não sei sobre ele, mas acho que ele não deve ter participado.
Se alguém souber, poderia nos dizer por favor?
Mark Coyle about Digsy: He was once described to me as you meet him, it's like opening a bag of monkeys.
Digsy: nonsense
MC: That's exactly what he's like.
NG: He's a funny, funny fella.
I’ve noticed there is no pics of Mark Coyle at the concerts. Thought some of his old mates from Manchester back then would be there. Also wonder what Louise Jones thinks of all of this ?
