MEDITATIONS ON THE FOOL
“What the fool exhales, the Fool inhales,
“There is no feminine for Fool.
“In the Descents (lifetimes), the sex of the fool alternates.
“The Inner strives to become the Outer.
“Seeing others as Self, the soul seeks to make amends.
“Balances again, the Fool descends.
“New thoughts become wrought deeds.
“All below is image, and names perish.
“The Virgin in the Fool’s eye does not perish (the pupil continues to take in and learn)
“The Virgin Waters generate their own light.
“Without separation, there is no illumination.”
-The Zelator, by Mark Hendsel (from the appendix section- Last Words.) great reference book for occultists.
Gotta love western esotericism. Hendsel actually shares sigils that correspond with each line. They’re similar to the ones from the Book of Dyzan that served as the base for Blavatsky’s The Secret Doctrine so some of you will recognize the meditative tools. Either way, here they are.
