Samsara is een niet gesproken film gemaakt door filmmakers Ron Fricke en Mark Magidson. Het is de opvolger van de film Baraka uit 1992, die ook is geregisseerd door Ron Fricke en geproduceerd door Mark Magidson. Het woord Saṃsāra is een woord wat in het Sanskriet betekent “in cirkels ronddraaien”.
