Mark Reilly : 1967-2021.
The bike industry has lost a very influential and important frame designer and builder in Mark Reilly.
Having recently taken ownership of a Reilly Spectre Titanium bike, I felt in some way connected to Mark even though never got to meet him and his passing has been a huge shock.
The outpouring of compassion, respect and love on social media from all corners of the world, and across the cycling industry, highlights the loss of this master, and what can only be described as “thoroughly good bloke”.
My thoughts are with his family, friends and everyone at Reilly Cycleworks.
May you rest in peace Mark and thank you for designing and building bikes that allow people to follow their dreams, make their dreams a reality, and that provide such enjoyment to so many. You have left behind a legacy that will outlive us all. Chapeau.
