FIRST THREE IN MY INBOX GET KISSES (2/3)
SHE APPEARS TO HAVE GROW FAIRLY ACCUSTOM to his company as the days went by. And thankfully, not in a way one normally would when B R A V I N G their way through weeks of construction work as they sit in their little apartment, NUMBING themselves completely to everything around them. No, the distrust was most likely still there (And perhaps, it would be awhile before he ever learns of why this is so), but they are conversing more, less affronting, less T E N S I O N when they take shelter each night and away from those things that were apparently called Skags.
EVEN THE TINIEST SMILE from her and giggle snorts that she tries to hold back (Which was honestly, the most adorable thing he had ever heard) would make that goofy smile on his features BRIGHTEN all the more. Just like the dorkiest teenager (Which, he has proven to be at heart, far too many times) who has succeeded in catching his crush’s attention for the very first time… he wasn’t that bad, right, Sasha? He does accomplish more than that, however, earning more heartfelt laughter and wider grins from her. She definitely sees him as more than just someone that could hold his own out here, these days.
And so, he cautiously slides over to her side one night. Her shoulders still shaking as her head is lowered ever so slightly after he makes yet another RIDICULOUS little comment (Though, he is starting to think that his voice alone is enough to tickle her funny bone, he knows the unsteady pitches in his voice sound absolutely ridiculous at times, even to his own ears). And of course, he gives her time to know that he had drawn closer, and when she doesn’t pull back… He leans right in to press a PLAYFUL SMOOCH to those now pink cheeks, flushed from all that laughing she did earlier.
