5 yrs ago today @whitesox #MarkBuehrle blew through 27 batters on his way to securing a win & a place in @baseballhall @mlb history. A Thursday afternoon game at US Cellular vs. The Rays. An unassuming game I picked out of the blue to be game one of a 3 day, 3 park, 3 game #baseball trip, less than 24 hrs after landing in Chicago I attended what would be the most memorable sporting event in my lifetime, captured on film, engrained in the past time, sports greatest rarity, fans' fondest memory, a witness to history. #whitesox #mlb #perfectgame #chicago #rays #photooftheday #vidoftheday #webstagram #gamedaynation Perfect Day for Baseball 7-23-09 like it was yesterday.
