Eternal singularity - Content - conceptualization • •• Selected Renaissance images from artworks of dead Christ, Christ entombed, or lamentation of Christ •Images of digital brains, circuit/motherboards, Ai, from science fiction movies •Quantum physics/mechanics equations for; creation, consciousness, creator •Circle/sphere motif, in neon- symbolic motif representing unknown unknowns a common image in my work over the last 5 years •Selected and applied abstract expressionist painting techniques and methods One important point to note: In these works I burn objects, artworks or prints of art, and turn the ash into paint pigment with which I make the paintings. This is a re-interpretation of the Hindu practice of 'Antiyesti', an attempt to reintroduce 'aura' (after Walter Benjamin) back into art/imagery.
