After a hard few hours of painting, our budding artists created some pretty... er, pretty pictures! The results of this round are as follows:
1st: Tsubaki, $42
2nd: Marko and Chett, both $36
3rd: The Cheat, $35
4th: Daniel, $32
and
5th: Camella, with $28.
This currently puts Tsubaki, Marko and Chett’s couples in the ‘safe zone’, but that could all change after the golfing round!
“Islanders. Thank for for joining me for this occasion - as you all know, one couple will be leaving the villa for good today. Charla and Marko, Kyle and Tsubaki - er, are you with us, Tsubaki? - Holli and The Cheat - you three couples scored the worst combined scores in our last challenge, which means you are all vulnerable to being eliminated. The public have been voting for which couple they would like to save. The couple with the fewest votes will go home immediately. I will now reveal which couples are safe, in no particular order.”
With the recoupling over and done with, it’s time for a challenge! Each couple has split into two groups, the painting group and the golfing group. (In order to eliminate unfair advantages as much as possible, the member of each couple with the highest athletic skill has gone to the golf side. No-one has any painting skill yet!)
Group 1 consists of The Cheat, Camella, Marko, Daniel, Chett and Tsubaki. Their goal is just to paint the most valuable painting they can!
“Charla!”
Charla jumped to her feet, beaming.
“Thanks for saving me the embarrassment of not being picked.” She grinned.
“Hey, it was all true. You were already in the running, but seeing you got shafted a bit...” Marko shrugged. “Seemed like the perfect time.”
“Trust me,” she said, pecking Marko on the cheek, “you will not regret this!”
“Time for our other newcomer to make a choice - Marko, could you come up here?”
Marko approached Nigella, his face concerned.
“This is... kind of a last minute decision. Honestly I thought I was going to have more of a connection with Chett, who is definitely my type... And then I thought that actually, Camella and me got on pretty well. But given the choices made today, I think I need to choose this sim because she is unpredictable, fiery, and life in the villa definitely will not be boring with her around!”
Tsubaki, unable to locate her own partner, is having a chat with Marko! The two seem to get on quite well...
