Mark Hurd, always wears a suit (unless he is at a tennis related event). Look at Mr. Hurd rocking that pop of yellow on his tie. 

Spring is just around the corner and these bright and cheery colors (yellow being my favorite) will soon be spotted more frequently than the darker colors of fall and winter. Yellow is an explosive color, for the bold. Yellow says, look at me! It doesn’t blend and is not known for its subtly, yellow demands attention. For that reason, I don’t see yellow going away as a favorite fashion trend anytime soon. Yellow is popular on the runway and in everyday wear. See below. Red and yellow are the “look this way” colors.

As we can see in the casual outfit above, a little yellow goes a long way. The black against the yellow is a nice contrast. I especially like that black leather jacket. The wide leg trousers add some nice texture to the outfit, along with the large belt buckle. Yellow can be rocked in so many ways and this outfit shows how versatile yellow can be. It’s not just for a nice spring dress, but can be matched with an edgy look. 

Hello, Yellow. Ths is what you get for a full-on yellow look. It’s a lot, but if you are bold enough, I say go for. This is a bit much for everyday wear, but this was for the runway, so it’s fitting. Again here, we see yellow paired with a few black highlights. 

In the picture below, there is a lot more texture, color, and variety going on. For starters, my eye is drawn to the jacket even though some other really cool things are going on. Yellow has won the war on color. But at second look, I love the velvet miniskirt. What a fun and non-traditional pair with a bold and striking jacket. Against the brown velvet, and yellow leather, the turquoise/blue purse is another fun color to add to the mix. Yellow is an attention color, and even though there are a lot of different materials and colors going on, it somehow all works because the yellow is so bold and eye catching, that the other pieces soften it in a complimenting fashion.
