For your consideration: Tucker's ghost sense just being like. A quick static shock, that is slightly more intense the more powerful the ghost is. If someone happens to be touching him when it goes off, they also get a small shock. Also, do Tucker Ghouly and Sam Mourner have different nemeses, or do they all just hate various Vlads?

hmm that is a very neat idea, but i think i would prefer to keep the sensitivity and ability to even measure the strength of a ghost exclusive to danny b, especially with how integral his ghost sense is to his story!

both ghouly and mourner were shocked by the same fenton ghost portal belonging to their respective danny’s parents, so their nemeses would still be vlad since the history of that hasnt changed all that much

Happy Storyteller Saturday! What would your characters do on a snow day?

answering for the TIB trio~

Teejay would make caramel popcorn and binge watch cheesy movies

Peach would write, or edit photos/videos (i’ve recently added “photography” and “film making” to her hobbies kjdgrkjdf)

Baby would build a snowman! and then come inside and watch movies with Teejay and finish all his popcorn

I’m going to go with Winnie from Hoarfrost Rising because I really want to introduce her and develop her a little more!

4. Do they have any siblings? How many? Are they older or younger?  Which sibling are they the closest with?

Winnie has one little sister, Alice (who is also a major character in the story!). Alice is 18, 6 years younger than Winnie is. The two of them are very close, though that does lend itself to bickering on occasion.

13. What do they do for fun?

Music is both Winnie’s pre-apocalypse career choice and her primary hobby. She loves listening to and creating music!

25. What is their biggest flaw?

26. Are they aware of their flaws?

Winnie’s greatest flaw, which she is acutely aware of, is her lack of confidence. She talks down on herself a lot and takes her failures too much to heart. In her eyes, everyone around her is ten times more competent and more equipped for success. Her character journey very much revolves around trying to grow out of this particular mindset.

33. What is their biggest fear? How would they react to having to face it?

Pre-apocalypse, her greatest fear is failing so hard that she can’t recover from it… everyone leaves her, she never gets another job offer, life becomes hopeless and she ends up dead and nobody cares.

After the apocalypse begins, her greatest fear is Alice’s death.

As for how she would react to either of these… I’m holding out on that until the story. :)

8. How does your OC talk/what does your OC’s voice sound like?

hhhh i’m gonna be honest i haven’t put much thought into what her voice sounds like ??? she uhhh. is very expressive. uses hyperbole and bad metaphors a lot. she has a teeny tiny accent when she says certain words and every once in a while some Spanish expression she picked up from her uncles will slip out.

11. What is your OC’s relationship with his/her mother?

ha! well. short story, Sol’s mom is very helicopter-y, which frustrates Sol to no end. there’s a lot more layers than that but we don’t have time to unpack all of that.

15. What was your OC’s childhood like?

uhhhh okay i guess? her family isn’t super rich but they get by. the only thing is that she’s always been struggling to keep her powers at bay which got her into trouble a lot and her parents (particularly her dad) were pretty hard on her for that. (they don’t know she has powers btw.) 

16. What is your OC’s strongest childhood memory? Why and how has that impacted him/her?

meeting Ella. they became friends in third grade after a mishap with Sol’s powers, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Ella is the only person who knew about Sol’s powers for the longest time and Sol very highkey developed a crush on her

You'd think after nearly a month and a half customers would catch on to the fact that the giant fucking screens that used to display ticket numbers aren't there anymore. Yes ma'am, the ticket dispenser IS empty. We left it that way on purpose! And the amount of people who roll up to the counter, see that I'm not helping anyone and there isn't anyone else anywhere in sight and proceed to try and take a nonexistant ticket anyway? Immeasurable. You don't need one Brenda! Just say you're ready!

Wait, just wait. You will have somebody bring you a ticket from somewhere. They have it from the last store or they just like carrying it IDK but someone will try to hand you a number. I will bet my life on it.

I will be done with this person's easy peasy quick and breezy cut in 0.25 seconds, Brenda. I will not wander the store calling your number out. If you aren't up here when it's your turn, tough shit. I have a line now. Next number, it is. Guess you'll just have to grab a new ticket and wait in line like everybody else.
