Brew #211: Tempest Brewing Co. Marmalade on Rye IPA
ABV: 9%
Served: From the fridge
Aroma: Orange, pine, minor malty notes
Pour: Cloudy marmalade (what else!) with an off white froth reducing to skim
Taste: Tangy honey sweet orange upfront before a big kick of hops. Lovely bitter bite at the finish; this is terrifically hoppy and not overly potent in taste with that high ABV. A really, really tasty sup with a nice piney aftertaste.
Notes: 330ml bottle, oranges, ginger, rye.
