Marnie laid in the flower bed by herself staring at the light blue sky. She took a deep breathe in, holding the air in her lungs for a few seconds before releasing. It was quiet. Calm. Peaceful.
She extended her right arm to her side as her fingers wrapped around a single flower. Plucking it from its place in the soil, Marnie brought the flower up to eye sight and admired it's beautifully unique coloring. "Forget me not," she softly whispered. Marnie then realized the irony in the flowers name and the fact that Lila had showed her this spot years ago.
A wave of nostalgia and melancholy washed over her as she thought about each of her sisters. Even with a large pack, Marnie often felt alone but didn't dare show it. Hiding her emotions was something the brown haired beauty had become a pro at and she had no intentions of letting her facade down now.
A smile creeped across her face as she thought of the one thing that never failed to lift her spirits up.
"Let's party," she excitedly said.
